Specialists from Worms win over big software company

Worms / Walldorf, February 2014

When one of the world leading companies puts out a tender for its merchandising, all the firms invited will do their best. Just the more proud the directors of promotional article specialist Global Brands Concepts (short GBC) from Worms are to have won the tender.

Founder and director Michael Weissenrieder speaks of a milestone: “To have yet again prevailed against big competitors shows, that we are on the right track with our international full-service concept. Having won this customer we have managed to assert our position in the global merchandising business.”

As one of only a few German companies GBC does not just have a letterbox company registered, but is present on the important sourcing markets in the US and China with its own offices. At its sites in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Philadelphia GBC employs 33 employees and in its headquarters in Worms another 46.

“Internationally orientated customers expect a true one-stop full-service. In addition to creative ideas for the selection or individual development of promotional articles, flexible and efficient logistics solutions are becoming increasingly important.”, adds Peter Kaspar, responsible for project management at GBC and member of the management board.
