Barmenia gets in GBC a strong partner

Since September 30th, 2015 Barmenia is now also partner of GBC. In the brand-new Barmenia-Webshop all kind of promotional items are available, i.e. pens, rubber ducks, selfie-sticks and many more. GBC takes over (oder is responsible for) the purchasing, quality assurance, stocking, handling and dispatch of the items for Barmenia.

Global Brand Concepts convinced the customer with a large number of references, such as Bosch, HILTI and SAP as well as the sustainability of the products and production plants which are audited by BSCI regularly. Both GBC as well as Barmenia are companies that are fully aware of their social and environmental responsibility.

Barmenia especially appreciates GBC’s internal finishing facilities such as laser engraving, embroidery and digital printing. Anne Jung, manager of Barmenia’s sales promotion department is pleased to say: “In GBC we found a partner who responds individually to our needs and offers the possibility in finishing a large amount of our promotional items. Furthermore, GBC guarantees a selection of suppliers and quality control which suits our requirement in sustainability.”

From now on Barmenia is able to treat their customers on fairs and exhibitions, to order high quality gifts for special occasions or supply their football team with own shirts – quite simply and fast. The new Barmenia Webshop is bigger, more mixed and individual. This shop offers a large range of possibilities in personalization and convinces in easy and efficient order processing.

GBC is also looking forward to cooperating with Barmenia, “our customers at Barmenia are employees and independent agents. Therefore our service department is involved with different requests and needs, for example personalized and high quality products and an excellent reachability. We are very well prepared and are looking forward to the coorperation,” Peter Kaspar, project leader and member of the GBC management team.

Union Krankenversicherung sees GBC as healthy partner

After GBC’s convincing presentation with the Versicherungskammer Bayern, the Union Krankenversicherung (UKV) health insurance company and a member of the VKB, also chose us as promotional items partner. Our full service with an own shop for the sales partners as well as individual finishing for the promotional items was again decisive.

The UKV Union Krankenversicherung is, together with its affiliate, the Bayerische Beamtenkrankenkasse, the third biggest health insurance group in Germany. The UKV has more than 520 employees and annually collects 650 million euros in contributions.

GBC prints with UV ink

Our in-house print shop has an innovative addition: one new UV digital print machines by Mimaki ensure even greater speed and quality. Up until now, only screen printing was possible for certain materials as well as particularly high quality and durable prints. The new machines now enable more digital printing and use ink which dries and sets very quickly when it comes into contact with UV light. The result: brilliant colors and particularly robust surfaces.

VKB chooses GBC: Versicherungskammer Bayern new client after successful tender

In June 2014, VKB (an insurance company group) launched a major tender for their promotional items, in September they chose GBC and, in February 2015, the webshop was already activated. Our full service offer was, once again, an important advantage. However, also decisive is that we are able to offer individual finishing in our print shop for the promotional items of the insurance agencies of the VKB.

GBC also programmed the webshop which automatically informs VKB about orders via an interface to the marketing portal.

The Versicherungskammer Bayern is the biggest public insurance group in Germany with 6,700 employees and annual collected contributions exceeding 7 billion euros.

Bosch gives GBC the green light

Already for the second time in succession, GBC has been able to secure the Bosch Green Collection. The team clothing for the sales of Bosch Power Tools was designed in close agreement with the client in the in-house design and graphics department. Hereby the company’s particularly strict Corporate Social Responsibility guidelines had to be taken into consideration in production. The team clothing is used throughout Europe and accessed via a webshop which is connected to Bosch’s SAP system.

The Power Tools business unit of the Bosch Group is a world market leader in electronic tools, electronic tool accessories and measuring technology. In 2013, 19,000 employees generated a turnover of 4 billion euros.
